The Army is committed to keeping residents informed about the cleanup activities at the Fort Sheridan site. The Environmental Coordinator (EC) is the Army's principal field representative responsible for day-to-day cleanup activities at Fort Sheridan. The EC coordinates efforts between other installation staff, such as the Navy and Army Reserves staff, oversees all contracts for cleanup-related activities, and is the Army's primary on-site point of contact for all community involvement activities.
