Site Remediation

Guaranteed Fixed Price Remediation at Fort Sheridan. Site Investigation and Engineering

Environmental Services Contract, West Virginia and Ohio. KEMRON performed operation and maintenance (O & M) and other investigation and remediation activities at large chemical manufacturing plants and waste management sites located in Ohio and West Virginia. Environmental Services Program Support Contract. KEMRON provided environmental services ranging at Department of Defense (DOD) faciltities in New York and New Jersey, ranging from preliminary site assessments (Title I) to removal actions to remediation (Title II) and other environmental engineering services.  Work was performed on formerly used defense sites (FUDS), IRP, BRAC facilities and USARC active sites.  KEMRON conducted site investigations (SI), groundwater studies, feasibility studies, pilot scale treatment studies, removal actions, UST removals and asbestos and lead abatement. ... read more

Emergency Response

Emergency and Rapid Response Services Contract. KEMRON holds ERRS contracts with USEPA Regions 3 and 4 providing emergency response and cleanup support for Superfund sites in 13 states and the District of Columbia. Under this multi-year contract, KEMRON provides response services for emergency, time critical and non-critical removal actions and early/interim remedial actions in accordance with the National Contingency Plan (NCP)..... read more

Anthrax Decontamination. KEMRON completed remedial and removal actions during the decontamination program at the Hart, Longfellow and Ford US Senate and House office buildings in response to an anthrax release.  KEMRON, under the USEPA Region 3 Emergency Response Group, responded and was on site within 24 hours. .... read more

Applied Technologies Group

Base Catalyzed Decomposition Process, Warren Country, North Carolina.  The Applied Technologies Group was recently awarded a contract with EQM under the Field Evaluations and Technical Services (FEATS) Program.  The contract is to perform bench-scale evaluations of an innovative process for the dechlorination of recalcitrant compounds. .... read more

Column Study, Iceland. Applied Technologies Group is currently performing a detailed column study on soils sampled from a site in Iceland .  The site is slated for development as a smelter, and detailed characterization of the surrounding native soils is being performed.  KEMRON has been contracted to evaluate the ability of native soils to pull heavy metals out of runoff water at the site.... read more

Reverse Osmosis Coupled with Chemical Precipitation Treatment of Acid Mine Leachate, Montana. USEPA Region 7 contracted KEMRON to identify and development an optimum treatment program as part of the removal actions for the Ten Mile and Basin drainages located in Lewis and Clark County, Montana.... read more

Environmental Assessment

Environmental Due Diligence Audits, Cleveland, OH.  KEMRON conducted Phase I and Phase II Environmental Due Diligence Audits (EDDA) for the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. The EDDA is required by the FAA for acquisition and disposal of real property at aviation facilities, to minimize the FAA’s environmental liabilities. NEPA Environmental Assessment.  KEMRON was contracted to perform an Environmental Assessment (EA) at Dobbins ARB in Marietta, GA under a contract to the Georgia Department of Defense.  The EA was prepared in accordance with the applicable guidelines and recommendations set forth by the DOD and satisfied the criteria of the federal, state, and Army regulations and the intent of NEPA. . read more
