Under this Guaranteed Fixed Price Remediation (GFPR) Contract with the US Army Environmental Center (USAEC), KEMRON is responsible for the cleanup of sites at multiple US Army Reserve installations.  The contract was solicited by the Northern Regional Contracting Center on an unrestricted competition basis.   KEMRON secured a 100% cost cap insurance policy as required under this contract.

KEMRON, working closely with the USAEC, USARC and the regulators, will achieve Response Complete or Remedy in Place at each site in order to gain regulatory closure. Activities include completion of investigations, preparation and/or finalization of plans and studies, engineering design for removal efforts, landfill caps, groundwater monitoring and maintenance programs.  KEMRON is also responsible for agency negotiation, site documentation, community relations, final remedy selection, construction, long-term monitoring / long term operations and management of the Administrative Record, as applicable to the individual sites. 

The contract includes activities at 15 Reserve properties in eight states encompassing a total 30 sites. The installations covered under this contract are:
