Senior Geophysicist - Nationwide

KEMRON Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a dynamic individual to work full-time within the Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) Group and serve as the KEMRON lead for geophysical efforts during both investigation and remediation efforts. You will develop the technical approach for geophysical investigation and remediation on MMRP proposals and will lead the evaluation of geophysical data relative to presence and extent of buried military munitions. You will prepare work plans and various completion reports for geophysical surveys/mapping in support of investigation and remediation projects. Must have BS degree in Geophysics, Geology, or Geological Engineering although an MS degree in these fields is preferred. Position must have proficiency with GIS, VSP, UX-Analyze and Geosoft database and previous experience with Advanced Geophysical Classification (AGC). Previous experience with MR QAPP Toolkit Module 1 is preferred. You must have over ten years of direct work with performing and evaluating geophysical surveying and over five years experience in detection and discrimination of buried military munitions. You must possess strong verbal and written communication skills as an excellent command of all Microsoft applications. Environmental Laborer/Technician - Mississippi

KEMRON Environmental Services is seeking an Environmental Laborer/Technician for overall environmental remediation work for a temporary position on a project in Mississippi. The duties may include the following: Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in environmental remediation construction projects; perform manual work in remediation of contaminated sites; Shovel contaminated material from around structures or areas unreachable by heavy equipment; Fine grade fill to grades given by foreman, supervisor or project manager; Clear and grub areas, Operate chain saw safely, fall trees safely, operate chipper as required; Excavate and fill trenches and ditches; Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards; Material handling and storage; Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials; and Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Work may involve activities on contaminated sites and may include hazardous wastes and/or chemicals, as well as heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs. Regulatory Specialist/Technical Project Manager – Nationwide

The position reports through our Marietta, OH operation and will lead project teams engaged in environmental investigation and remediation projects. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, or other relevant science discipline is required; a Master’s degree is desirable. Professional registration relevant to the technical discipline is also highly desirable (eg. PMP, PG, PE). The ideal candidate will have 5 -10 years of progressively responsible work history, including significant direct work experience in developing compliant regulatory approaches and leading project teams through successful planning, field investigation and remediation under RCRA and/or CERCLA. Project Controls Specialist I – San Francisco, CA (Hunters Point)

This is primarily a field position which has responsibility for performing all cost control, scheduling, cost budgets, production analysis and forecast functions relating to Environmental and MMRP projects being executed by our construction group.

Your experience must have: a minimum of a HS diploma; a minimum of three years’ experience in project controls w/managing cost and schedule on FFP and CPFF projects; strong Microsoft Office skills; experience with cost control, accounting and forecast functions relating to construction projects; and excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with project personnel, vendors, subcontractors and other stakeholders. Experience with Primavera is required; experience with an Earned Value Management program is preferred. Additionally, you must be able to travel up to 90% and have a driving record which meets our motor vehicle insurance requirements. Drug testing and an MVR are requirements of this position.

Equipment Operators – Atlanta, GA

KEMRON Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking skilled Equipment Operators for a projects in Mississippi and Georgia. Duties include safely operating multiple types of heavy equipment of various sizes and weights to establish required grades and cuts within acceptable tolerances for environmental remediation construction. In addition, position will perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, assist with installation and maintenance of traffic control devices and assist laborers and technicians as requested. The position may require travel as future project(s) require. Work will involve activities on contaminated sites which may include hazardous wastes and/or chemicals.

Your experience must demonstrate the ability to work from construction specifications or blueprints, operate GPS and laser guided indicate systems to meet grade requirement, determine the correct equipment suited for specific task and perform manual work requiring periods of extensive periods of extensive physical exertion with potential exposure to adverse weather conditions. OHSA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training required, 8-Hour Refresher preferred. Must pass pre-employment surveillance physical exam and drug screen. CDL and/or OSHA construction training a plus. Special consideration will be given to candidates who are local to Pascagoula, MS or Atlanta, GA. Hourly wage rate for these positions is $18.00-26.00, commensurate with skills and experience.

Field Geologist – Marietta, OH

KEMRON Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a dynamic individual to work full-time as a Field Geologist in our Marietta, Ohio operation. We are looking for an experienced Field Geologist to lead the field collection of soil and groundwater data using a variety of drilling and sampling techniques. You will work with the Project Management team across operations to support project planning, data collection/interpretation and technical report development. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, etc.), including the ability to support soil boring/well log/geologic cross-section development, plume maps, prepare and evaluate data trends and statistics and complete other geologic and hydrogeologic data evaluation and interpretation. Automation of processes and data transfer to systems (such as GIS) via program development is required.

Your experience must include 3-5 years’ demonstrated field geology experience including drilling, logging, soil and groundwater sampling. A BS in in geology, hydrogeology or other relevant geological science discipline is required; a master’s degree is desirable. Preference given to GIT or PG certification. You must possess strong organizational, oral and written communication and collaboration skills.
