Senior Engineer - Midwest

KEMRON Environmental Services, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Senior Engineer with a concentration in chemical or environmental engineering for our Midwest operations. Candidate must possess a minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering and at least 10 years of professional experience to include management of large multi-million dollar CERCLA/RCRA investigation/remediation projects. Professional registration or the ability to obtain professional registration is a must. Must have demonstrably strong written and verbal communication skills to include concise report writing. Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical surveillance exam including drug screen. You must possess a valid driver’s license as an MVR will be required. OSHA 40-Hr HAZWOPER certificate required, current 8-Hr HAZWOPER Refresher certificate preferred. Full benefits offered.

Environmental Laborer/Technician - Mississippi

KEMRON Environmental Services is seeking an Environmental Laborer/Technician for overall environmental remediation work for a temporary position on a project in Mississippi. The duties may include the following: Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in environmental remediation construction projects; perform manual work in remediation of contaminated sites; Shovel contaminated material from around structures or areas unreachable by heavy equipment; Fine grade fill to grades given by foreman, supervisor or project manager; Clear and grub areas, Operate chain saw safely, fall trees safely, operate chipper as required; Excavate and fill trenches and ditches; Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards; Material handling and storage; Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials; and Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Work may involve activities on contaminated sites and may include hazardous wastes and/or chemicals, as well as heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs. A minimum of one year of environmental remediation work experience required and experience around heavy equipment preferred. Required training includes current OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER. 10-hour OSHA construction training a plus. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
